Cake Server... Yeah or Nay???

So i have been a bit DIY crazy these days, as we are saving money to pay for the larger parts of the wedding, I feel as though I am not doing anything, and I love to get things DONE :D

So, I finished the card box, invites have 76 done (need to get reception only ones printed as well so I can get more done) and then I moved onto a cake server. Were not into spending lots of mula on this, so I "etsyed" Sparkly cake server and came up with some awesome wire wrapped with bead servers and thought... inspiration...

However i think the wire i have is a bit too thick, and maybe I will be *in love with it* with smaller wire.. not sure... DH wasnt to kean at first of anything but the black handle it came with, then he asked what it was for and he said ok well then yeah its nice! hmmm mixed reaction LOL :D

so what do we think ladies?
